My first bundle of creativity will be around my recent trip to Egypt. My best friend and I finally explored tombs, walked among the temples, and cruised the Nile on a once in a lifetime trip.

We stayed for 11 days, including the day we arrived at 4pm, with a portion being a 3 night cruise.
Before we dive into the journey we must start with the basics.
Why Egypt?
Since I was in elementary school, I loved the thought of finding a new treasure buried beneath the sand. I remember reading a book about a girl who travels back to ancient Egypt. I cannot remember the the title, author, or how the book ended but I distinctly remember the inner dialog of “now I must visit Egypt”. My parents remember me telling them I wanted to grow up and be an Egyptianist. Life happens and I found my true calling in healthcare but forever that little girl inside of me will always be drawn to the latest archeological discovery.

Temple at Dendarah.
I truly love the beauty and workmanship of art from prior eras. I do believe we have lost the artistic hand because of screen time and current lifestyles. We can build enormous buildings with machines in an impressive amount of time but how amazing is this? Chiseled and painted by hand.
